AFC U-17 Championship 2008 Qualification

AFC U-17 Championship 2008 Qualification is the qualification for the AFC U-17 Championship 2008 football competition. The matches were held from October 1 to November 7, 2007. The AFC U-17 Championship is organized by the Asian Football Confederation.

The Draw for the quaifications stages was made on December 22, 2006 in Kuala Lumpur, seven groups with six teams and one group with three teams were made. However Afghanistan, the Philippines, Timore Leste, the Maledives and Myanmar withdrew before the start of the qualification.

On February 18, 2008 AFC AFC Disciplinary Committee disqualified DPR Korea, Tajikistan and Iraq from the AFC U-16 Championship 2008 for fielding overaged players. ^[1]

The winners and runners-up of Groups A-G along with the winner of the three-team Group H qualified for the finals. The yet to be identified hosts also qualify automatically for the finals.
