Adolf is not a Christian name but a germanic one.

Christian name remains the normal everyday term for a first name in English speaking countries (I use it and I'm an atheist). The origin of a particular name is irrelevant.
What about Adolph, is it the same name with a different spelling?
Yes, it is, as is Adolfo (Iberian version of the name). John Anderson 15:45, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Why do we even need a DAB page for a first name??? :: Supergolden 17:22, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

I don't think this should really be considered a disambiguation page, but a page about the name Adolf. John Anderson 15:49, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. (late to the party, but whatever) I've removed {{disambig}} from the article. EVula // talk // // 21:12, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] and wolf, meaning wolf

Is that really the best way to do it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.226.227.199 (talk) 19:52, 21 February 2007 (UTC).

[edit] a racial slur?

Adolf is a racial slur, refering to Hitler. --Blake3522 07:00, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chancellor?

I'd chance Adolf Hitler's attribute chancelor to dictator. First, chancelor associates a democratic basic, but the fact is that Hitler didn't get his power in a democratic way. Second, in the short time Hitler was chancelor, he had not the force to command a murder. That just started with his leadership. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.217.46.254 (talk) 20:12, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
