[edit] Drivers
In the first A1GP season DTM driver Timo Scheider, then future Formula One driver Adrian Sutil and Sebastian Stahl had a mediocre season. Finishing at a disappointing 15th place in the championship. The year after that Nico Hulkenberg clinched the title almost singlehandedly in dominant style. [2] Christian Vietoris only made one appearance at the Mexican event. He raced the first two events in the 2007-08 season, but was replaced by Michael Ammermüller. Who had a difficult debute weekend, but clinched a win at the Zhuhai event.
