[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. If you edit without a username, your IP address (98.222.125.65) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! [edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 01:41, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Buffalo Soldier, without explaining the valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. 72.75.110.142 (talk) 19:31, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

I didn't remove content. I removed my ip stuff because I think it looks a little tacky. The four tides don't work for me. I haven't made any test edits either. Please explain further. Tom 04/11/08
If you don't like the IP address in the signature, then register and use that account ... the signatures provide links to your user page and history, whereas "Tom" does not identify you ... that's why we have bots that add signatures when they are omitted ... Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Noah, you will be blocked from editing. 72.75.110.142 (talk) 19:31, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

The only thing I remove is my ip stuff because it looks tacky. The (98.222.125.65 (talk)) don't work for me. Tom 04/11/08

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Buffalo Soldier, you will be blocked from editing. The Bipolar Anon-IP Gnome (talk) 19:24, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

It doesn't matter how tacky you think it looks ... the signatures with date/time stamps have a purpose, so please stop removing them, because Some Other Editor will only restore it ... BTW, see WP:3RR, and note that you've already been reverted twice ... Happy Editing! — The Bipolar Anon-IP Gnome (talk) 19:24, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
