[edit] A note on vandalism

FYI, pages on the Wikipedia can be reverted to a previous version very easily (with the correct software, it's a single click; otherwise, it's two). Vandalism is thus very, very easy for editors to correct - probably easier than it is to perform in the first place. As editors monitor popular articles for changes (again, this is handled easily by software) vandalism doesn't go unnoticed for long. Think before you edit: is it worth the effort?
