[edit] KTVX & The Cindy Sheehan Ad
During George W. Bush's visit to Salt Lake City to speak to the Veterans of Foreign Wars on August 22, 2005, KTVX was the only local television station that did not air the paid political message of Cindy Sheehan against the war in Iraq[1]. The station's owners Clear Channel Communications claimed that the ad would offend its viewers. However, rival KSL-TV, which is owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, did not hesitate to air the ad.
While this paragraph is more than appropriate in the article for KTVX, is is not appropriate for KSL-TV, KUTV, or Wikipedia:Lamest edit wars ever. - Chadbryant 20:32, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- The whole point is that the paragraph ISN'T appropriate for the KTVX article. Please do not bring your personal opinions into Wikipedia. Thanks. Chattanooga Choo Choo 20:35, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

- Here's the thing, Chad: Whoopity Doo or whoever he is in real life might well be a kook, but the link that you are inserting into articles is just as clearly unencyclopedic in nature. Wikipedia is is not a link repository for you. Nandesuka 17:17, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

- 67.177.61.135, I don't like to block people, but I shall do so if you continue to edit war on this article, where a consensus seems to have developed. It does look like you've stopped for the time being, so apologies if you've already decided to quit, in which case this warning would be superfluous. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 13:02, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
