[edit] September 2005
Welcome to Wikipedia. It would be appreciated if you would not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you.
Hi there. Please don't add references to T'ien Lung Tao to Wikipedia. It was already decided once that this martial art did not merit inclusion into the encyclopedia. See Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/T'ien Lung Tao for more detail. Fernando Rizo T/C 01:50, 7 September 2005 (UTC) uhh.. no
- Hello. I see that you added T'ien Lung Tao to List of martial arts again. Please stop doing so until you've established a consensus for doing so on the talk page for List of martial arts. It may take a couple of days to do so, and until then I will continue to enforce the previous consensus that T'ien Lung Tao is not notable enough for encyclopedic entry. I will treat future additions as if they were advertising spam unless a different consensus is established. Fernando Rizo T/C 01:56, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. Fernando Rizo T/C 02:01, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
What I find hilarious is that I founded Shingon Kenpo and had 5 students at that time. Since then I have disbanded Shingon Kenpo but it is listed on Wikipedia. It seems that Wikipedia standards are based upon how many google hits one gets. Is google truly your standard? Please check out tienlungtao.com and look at the bio's of the people who have left their systems to study this system. Get informaed before making any sweeping comments. If you actually wish to have a place where new and relative information is posted you need to be more than an armchair martial artist.
Dear Fernando, informing people that there is an actual system called "T'ien Lung Tao" does not constitute an advertisement. There is no 1-800 number or anything like that. An advertisement is a means of luring people into purchasing something. Why not write something about T'ien Lung Tao after you have read the website? maybe this way it will comform to what exactly you expect instead of Martial Artists trying to do it?
- Thanks for communicating and not just getting into a revert war. I sympathize with your frustration, but most editors infer the policy statements at What Wikipedia is not to mean that a subject must have a certain amount of notability and verifiability before it can be included in Wikipedia, because Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information.
- If you think that you can find some citations to T'ien Lung Tao in some places (newspaper articles, magazines, etc.) other than the official website and a few websites, I'd be willing to help you write an article that would stand a good chance of being kept. Find some references and leave me a note on my talk page. Fernando Rizo T/C 02:13, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
Dear Fernando, on the website was an article written by a magazine. Dunno how much that helps. Also I have no clue how to access your talk page. Thanks for the help. Please know that it is greatly appreciated.
IRT: Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/T'ien Lung Tao Actually, in this case, it isn't the number of google hits alone that determines the notability of the issue, but the consensus arrived at in the VfD process. So, any editor familiar with the subject and the consensus is likely to continue to delete mention of the style. As Fernando Rizo says, you may try to establish notability on the list article's talk page, there have been successful reassertions of notability in cases like this before. But as we say in our disclaimer every time you edit a page at Wikipedia:
If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, do not submit it.

Hi there.
Just out of interest, why are you editing the user page of User:Joey smith162 so much? This user only ever edited his page for a 7-minute interval on March 10th, I wonder if his page should be deleted, he hasn't contributed since. Unless you are him and don't log in (which would be a bit weird imo). Anyway, I'm just asking that out of curiosity. Regards, IronChris | (talk) 22:02, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

- I wasn't attacking him. I was merely pointing out what many other editors know to be true. I mean, calling Osama bin Laden a terrorist isn't a personal attack. It's just the truth. --66.82.9.57 08:19, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Puzzle, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.--Qyd 16:06, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
