Many of these maps are based on the maps provided by the IEG-Maps project (by Andreas Kunz, B. Johnen and Joachim Robert Moeschl of the University of Mainz). For further info visit: http://www.ieg-maps.uni-mainz.de
Some Prussian and German maps have already been made based on these IEG maps (see the German and Dutch wikis), but they were either of a low level of detail or they used (in my opinion) an unsatisfactory colour scheme. So to those other mapmakers, please don't take it personally.
