From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This IP address, 207.69.140.51, is registered to EarthLink (Atlanta, Georgia), an Internet service provider through which numerous individual users may connect to the Internet via proxy. This IP address may be reassigned to a different person when the current user disconnects.
For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case, please see here.
If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user.
Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.
| Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation. |
Hi, just wanted to say thanks for creating the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee article. I'd been meaning to do that for months, and just hadn't gotten around to it. I appreciate it. Not only that, but it was well-written and accurate. Have you considered creating an account? It would make your editing much easier, and allow people to give credit (even if you use a pseudonym, like myself). Hope you create an account, and best wishes, [[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]] 17:52, 2004 Jul 27 (UTC)

[edit] William Cocke
I noticed you created the entry for William Cocke of Virginia. I'm assuming that Fort Cocke built by William Cocke may have been his father. I doubt he built the fort at age 8. Can you shed any light on the subject? --141.157.157.100 19:33, 27 September 2005 (UTC)

This is the only warning you will receive. Your recent vandalism, as you did to Muckraker (disambiguation), will not be tolerated. Although vandalizing articles on occasions that are days or weeks apart from each other sometimes prevents editors from being blocked, your continued vandalism constitutes a long term pattern of abuse. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Oneiros (talk) 23:44, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
