The 1976 British Speedway League was the twelfth season of the highest tier of motorcycle speedway in Great Britain. The White City Rebels made their debut as did 1975 National League champions Birmingham Brummies. Oxford Cheetahs dropped down a division. Ipswich Witches won their second consecutive title.
