The Houston Astros' 1970 season was a season in American baseball. It involved the Houston Astros attempting to win the National League West.

- November 21, 1969: Mike Marshall was purchased by the Houston Astros from the Milwaukee Brewers. [1]
- December 4, 1969: Joe Pepitone was traded by the New York Yankees to the Houston Astros for Curt Blefary. [2]
