[edit] Your edit to Spider-Man 3
Hi, thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. However, the information about Bruce Campbell portraying Quentin Beck is speculation at best. Please see the talk page for an open discussion about the Mysterio information, and if you feel that the information should be included, discuss it with us. Otherwise, the information will be reverted. --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 22:08, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] How many eyes?
Hi! You recently edited the article on Samson, changing the transcript of Judges 16:28 from:
"O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes." to
"O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for one of my two eyes."
This didn't make sense to me and I even suspected vandalism (sorry, but your talk page is full of warnings!). Looking up the ref. however was interesting:
1608 (Robert Barker): my two eyes
1611: my two eyes
Revised: my two eyes
But the Vulgate: uno duorum luminum meorum i.e: one of my two eyes
although in all editions quoted above, including the Vulgate, verse 21 definitely refers to eyes in the plural being put out. This is interesting: I wonder why the difference. Since you found this anomaly, have you any idea? Did you also find this in the Vulgate, or another source? I'd be most interested.
Best wishes

[edit] Your edit to Truthiness
Of course, since you've chosen to ignore so many other warnings about vandalism, speculation and adding just plain nonsense to Wikipedia, I don't doubt you'll ignore this one, too. However, the policy is to warn people when they add things, so I'm doing so, I'd intended to leave a polite note, but I've never seen a page this full of warnings for someone who hadn't been permanently banned.Thespian 20:45, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] This IP Address
This IP Address is used by a large number of computers on the Ivy Tech college campuses in Indiana, USA.
- In point, that's not an argument in your favour. Almost every single edit made from this IP has been vandalism, that says something less than complimentary about your school. IPs with this high a level of vandalism can and likely should be blocked, requiring a logged in user to take responsibility for their actions. Most shared IPs with some vandalism have one or two pieces of vandalism peppered among saner edits, not this consistant level of repeated vandalizing.
- Consider some self policing, or get yourself a named account, because the abuse of a few of your fellow students is repeated enough that it'll probably cause another IP ban soon -Thespian 06:13, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Slime mould
In a recent edit to the page Slime mould, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any queries about all this, just ask anyone on Wikipedia and they will help you. Thank you.
