[edit] Notability of Andy Bond

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Andy Bond, by 65.95.137.241 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Andy Bond seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Andy Bond, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Andy Bond itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 01:38, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Final 4 halfway housemates?

Have you got a source that those are the final four? I assume you must have seen in on BBLB or something? Channel 4 only says the 4 choosen will be the final 4, but not who they are. John Hayestalk 19:16, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Ok they confirmed it don't worry. John Hayestalk 10:01, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No Nominations rowspan

I noticed you changed the "no nominations" rowspan, back to individual fields, and added the halfway housemates boxes. While I am not going to revert unless there is consensus to, would you mind explaining your change in the ongoing discussion on the subject at Talk:Big Brother 2007 (UK)#No nominations rowspan. Thanks John Hayestalk 10:01, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

In fact after more comments I have no reverted back to the rowspan. If you don't agree please contribute to that discussion. John Hayestalk 11:25, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Jade Goody

I've removed your edit here for the time being as it's unsourced, bearing in mind policy on living people. Even if it is sourced, it would seem more appropriate for a tabloid newspaper than an encyclopedia; do you think she'd want to read that here? Let me know your thoughts. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 16:43, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] April 2008

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Big Brother 9 (U.S.). Most British people and many people internationally write dates in day-month-year order, e.g., 12 December 1904. Most Americans use month-day-year order, e.g., December 12, 1904. If the article is about an American topic, use month-day-year. If it is a British or European topic, use day-month-year. If neither, leave it as originally written. Many Americans or British people take offence if an article about their country, written in their local version of English, is changed around to a version they don't use. So please do not do that.

Dates are usually enclosed in two square brackets, as in [[12 December]] or [[December 12]]. This means that you can set your preferences (if you look around your screen you'll see the word preferences; click on it and follow the instructions) to ensure that you see all dates in the format you want, whether date-month-year, month-date-year or yyyy-mm-dd. The general rules on how Wikipedia articles are written can be seen in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Rules specific to dates and numbers can be seen in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers).

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on the web's fastest growing encyclopædia (or encyclopedia, if you write it that way!). Thank you. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 19:54, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
