Yuri is a given name in several languages:

• Yuri (Russian: Юрий, alternatively spelled "Yury", "Yuriy", "Yurii" or "Iouri") is a Russian masculine given name. There are several hypothesized etymologies for it, including that it comes from the Christian name George via the Germanic Jorgen (pron. YOR-ghen), that it is descended from the Slavic name Yarilo or that it is linked to the biblical Uriah or Uriyahu.
• Yuri (Japanese: ゆり, ユリ) is a Japanese feminine given name that can mean lily and has many different meanings depending on the kanji used.
