"Youth Gone Wild" was a hit song and single off of Skid Row's 1989 debut album, Skid Row. It is a fast, heavy metal song with lyrics referring to the fun rebellious attitude of youth. The music video on MTV got heavy airplay. However, while the album itself was a major hit and went multi-platinum in the U.S. and other countries, "Youth Gone Wild" as a single only reached #99 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 but reached #20 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks. The Song is played at many sports arenas including at the United Center when the Chicago Blackhawks hit the ice.
