When the charming young Mathias Brugman a.k.a. Mathias Bruckman (January 3, 1811 – Assassinated-September 30, 1868,Yauco,Puerto Rico, born in New Orleans, Louisiana,United States of America) with a friendly nod sat down near EcoAvila.
A few days ago El Grito de lares of September 23 rebellion was the very beginning of Spainish disfranchisement, for from 1868 death of Bruckman to 1898,the puerto rican rebels were wiser,older,and expereience near by.The idea was forevr alive. Mathias Brugman good looking, both of face and figure,accomplishments in many languages yet reserved on this September 30th 1868 day. His dark and beautiful creole eyes,and his black locks hid no romance as the twilight reflected off the river near his encampment. El Rio Prieto torrent,and the betrayal,from one nationalist jingoism pronounced unrestrained on September 23 ,1868,now a halloness as the sound of the rio pierto y el coqui the only friends of the american Liberator from the City New Orlean. The Conspirators of "Capá Prieto". was now disorganised,the conspiracy against the spainish inquisition state of mind in retreat headed for Yauco.Most of the army from lares treason,some like Manuel Rojas Comandante en Jefe del Ejército de Liberación was arrested. dressed in the uniform of an American fireman, with a tri-colored scarf across his breast, a flaming sash around his waist, with sword, revolver, and USACavalry boots, attempting to ford the swollen Río Prieto, near the town of Las Marias.
1868,Like the American Army of liberation, the Spanish had been having a rough march over the mountain roads seeking the army of the Puerto Rican Liberation. Near NievaCafe' Hacienda, The Spainish Army could not ford the Río Prieto, because the heavy rains of the previous day had turned the river into a torrent. The Spanish found the Liberator Bruckman near the river,in Yauco september30,1898.Alone,with his music.Mr.bruckman had not the least idea that there was any music but JAZZ,or that any music had evr existed before it.Bruckman was pleasant,certainly,polite,and his large,vacant eyes smiled most charmingly to reverge by arms upon the hereditary foe,and now alone with immortality@a river crossing in Yauco,San Juan Batista, turned up-side down in 1898 Spain/American War for the americans was not of devastation but one to give all within the control of Puerto Rico's Military and Naval Forces the advantage and blessings of enlightment civilazation.
