Talk:Yank (physics)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I fail to see how this is not relavent. Yank should have its own article as jerk does.
- You're absolutely right, perhaps I'm being too quick to speedy. Can you reference your source for an independent definition of Yank, so we can enhance the article? Budgiekiller 21:51, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
- Good try, but the bottom of the reference states: Needless to say, none of these are in any kind of standards, yet. We just made them up on usenet. so I'm not convinced this is a decent ref! Budgiekiller 21:58, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
It gives me just enough info to understand Yank in relation to jerk, etc. Please to not delete.
I do not understand what the problem is on this still, yank is casually referred to in various sources. Admittedly it is not the official term, but the Physics Usenet is not a worthless source. --Joe 23:52, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
Defenatly keep, This page is usefull and has a purpose (someday)!
I vote for delete. A bunch of nerdy engineering students at Penn State cannot coin a physics term. Papercrab 22:49, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
