Well I don't know. It's certainly inspired by the Stratocaster Design in a way, but the guitar feels and sounds quite different. More like a Tele in my opinion...

Someone told me that Yamaha was owned by Fender or Yamaha owned Fender. So that is why. Do you have a photo?
