- As it was in Russian books from XIX - first half of XX these yams were called (by Russians in Mongolia) "станок" (singular). Vocabulary of folk geography terms vol.2 (in Russian):"At Eastern and Southern Syberia along the "тракт"s (main roads) are located "станки"(plural) - communication settlements where is possible get food and rest."
