WVAU

WVAU is the college radio station of American University. Formerly 610 WVAU-AM and 101.7 WVAU-FM, it changed when the station moved facilities from WAMU's basement in the early 1990s. Its carrier current AM and ATV cable FM broadcast were disabled, and it became an Internet-only station. Its student predecessors include the now-professional WAMU and early WAMU AM 610. The station is staffed entirely by American University students from its studio in the Mary Graydon Center. AM alumni include numerous industry professionals who are employed throughout the broadcasting industry.

The current General Manager is Lindsay Zoladz.
