[edit] More on WSIU-area viewers watching other PBS stations

This article says that viewers in the WSIU/WUSI area able to watch KETC watch it instead. What about WEIU and WVUT? I live in Robinson, Illinois, where WEIU is available on cable alongside WUSI, and, on top of that, WVUT comes in quite well with a pair of rabbit ears at night. People with rooftop antennas are probably able to pull WVUT in better than with rabbit ears, I assume, but I haven't had the chance to experiment with this myself. I assume WEIU would also come in fairly well with a rooftop antenna, though I can't get it with rabbit ears. MSN's television guide says that WNIN and WILL could be viewable, but, again, I'm pretty sure that this is with a rooftop antenna. --/ɛvɪs/ /tɑːk/ /kɑntɹɪbjuʃ(ə)nz/ 22:55, August 23, 2005 (UTC)

I really can't comment too much on WEIU and WVUT, but there is a rather large area of overlap between KETC and WSIU. I used to live about 15 miles from the KETC tower, and WSIU would still come in with rabbit ears, though the signal was rather weak. The local cable company carried both stations. Richardsur

[edit] In-market / out-of-market ???

This station has way too many market templates. I just re-added the St Louis TV template that I accidentally removed last time I edited the article, with much reservation. Can someone who knows which market this station is in please trim some of these templates from the page, and edit the templates themselves? AlexDW 16:42, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Its a lot like KFVS, which has a signal that reaches easily into the St. Louis TV market, and almost into St. Louis itself. Kimmy78 16:31, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] split

Comment: I don't recommend the split at all. Although they're different channels, they broadcast the same TV station. Kimmy78 16:31, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] TV/FM Split

The WSIU article should be broken up. There should be an FM article & a TV article. 72.161.148.66 00:08, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

This article really should be split. I just realized the name of this article is WSIU-TV . 207.119.203.11 00:48, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
