Worsley and Eccles South will be a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It will elect one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

Following its 2006 review of parliamentary representation in Greater Manchester, the Boundary Commission for England recommended the creation of a modified Worsley constituency, incorporating a part of Eccles, to be called Worsley and Eccles South.[1]
The electoral wards included in the Worsley and Eccles South constituency are:

- Boothstown and Ellenbrook
- Cadishead
- Irlam
- Little Hulton
- Walkden North
- Walkden South
- Winton
- Worsley
[edit] Electoral results
The seat of Worsley and Eccles South will be fought at the next United Kingdom general election. Martin Baxter of Electoral Calculus gave Labour a reduced majority of 7,787 over the Conservatives.
