Welcome to the User Page of DShamen. I have been a registered member of Wikipedia since early June 2006 and have made a number of contributions to Wikipedia, most recently creating articles for people from the traditional county of Lancashire, and also Bournemouth and Poole... I have also devoted a lot of time to finding people for these categories and also the 'people from' Greater Manchester and Lancashire categories. Furthermore I have been involved in categories in West Yorkshire (most notably Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield) and numerous others in Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.

I have been a contributor on Wikipedia much longer though, I finally decided to set up an account after being fed up of reading about vandalism from users on the same IP address!

I currently reside in Blackpool, Lancashire although I have strong family roots in the Bournemouth and Oldham areas.
