[edit] Rename Page?

I think we should we rename the page to Witch Hunters (Warhammer 40,000) to standardize it with other 40k pages. Same with daemonhunters. Shrumster 19:09, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

I wouldn't do it just to standardise the pages, but I agree it should be done due to the increasing number of dablinks. - Heavens To Betsy 20:13, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

I altered Vandires quote at the bottom of the finished section. This version comes straight from pg73 of the old 2nd ed wargear book. Its the oldest version, and as far as I'm aware it hasn't changed

[edit] Not Fair Use

Why does the search engine "Witch Hunters" bring up the 40k tabletop game? Should the real-world, HISTORICAL figures be placed here, or at least, the disamgauation page? The articles such as "Space Marines" don't go to the 40k tabletop army, why should Witch Hunters. And don't give me crap like, "Oh, well, 40k IS a historical game, and it IS pretty popular you know..." that's not the point, the point is, REAL WORLD HISTORICAL NONFICTION FIRST. Colonel Marksman 00:11, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Because "witch hunters" were not an actual term of anyone as, say, Inquisitor would be. SanchiTachi 00:41, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Someone Want to Help

I will fill in the rest of the stuff at the bottom (reformation and the like) but if anyone wants to help, that would be much appreciated. SanchiTachi 19:38, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Allies

It doesn't matter what the make up of the point spread of the Army is, because regardless, they are counted as the same army and can have a HQ of an Inquisitor. Thus, Sisters of Battle AND Space Marines can be fielded together. Page 60 further demonstrates that. If you want to reword it, that is fine, but removing any mention of it would go against the Witch Hunters Codex, and thus, not have any citation for removal.

The fact that this line: " The Imperium is now a united force where Sisters of Battle, Inquisitors, Deathwatch, and Daemonhunters can all ally with either an Imperial Guard Army or a Space Marine Army (but not both) at any given time." Shows that the edit of the paragraph was completely inaccurate, as that comes from directly the Codex. SanchiTachi 17:16, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Codex-Witch Hunters.gif

Image:Codex-Witch Hunters.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:20, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
