Wise intelligence

Wise Intelligence is an independent comic book created by Ryan McLelland. According to the first issue, the comic stems from a panel McLelland hosted at SPX 2004. The comic is based on an unproduced screenplay by McLelland that was published by Xlibris Publishing in 2001.
The comic centers around four fraternity brothers: Thomas Servo, Johny Whorfin, Dean Moriarty, and Jay 'JK' Kay at the fictitious New Jersey State University. The first book is notable for having an appearance by Dave Sim's Cerebus and Mike Kazaleh's Captain Jack anthromporphic characters.
The anthology issues have several notable independent artist/creators attached including Bob Lipski, Howie Noeldechen, Adam Talley, Reilly Brown.
