[edit] PRICK Magazine

A tag has been placed on PRICK Magazine, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Finngall talk 22:47, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with PRICK Magazine. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. --Finngall talk 23:25, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Ok, sorry, I think I've got it now. I've also added enough relevant information about this entry for it to be accepted into Wikipedia's database.

Unfortunately, you got it wrong again. It is not allowed in wikipedia to cut and paste texts from other webpages. You must write text yourself providing references from reliabls sources (blogs, personal websites, message boards, etc., don't count). Please keep in mind that articles about businesses require a cetian amount of notability confirmed by independent sources, see the policy Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). No offense, but with today's computer technology it is not a big deat to print a glossy magazine. I have no opinion about the notability of the magazine, but you do have to provide solid proofs of its notability. Also, please keep in mind that the article must not read as an advertising, with flashy epithets and promises and all. `'Míkka 03:44, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
