Windisch is a municipality in the district of Brugg in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.
Windisch is situated at the site of the Roman legion camp Vindonissa. The church of the former Königsfelden monastery with its glass paintings of 1325, Agnes chapel, comptrollery and convent building is listed as a heritage site of national significance.[1]
