[edit] Speedy deletion summaries

It would probably be helpful to new users if you would link your speedy deletion summaries as many other administrators do, e.g. "WP:CSD#A7" instead of just "CSD A7". The first time I saw "CSD A7" it took me just about forever to figure out what it meant. :) The Storm Surfer 16:09, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Happy End

So what's the story here please? You deleted the entry with no discussion. You regard the subject as unimportant I disagree. Do you outrank me or something? No discussion? I was going to list their CD releases before you deleted the article. Can you clarify please?SmokeyTheCat 08:15, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

That article falls under WP:CSD#A7 speedy deletion criteria. --WinHunter (talk) 17:08, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

I was going to add some detail before you deleted the article. I still regard the subject as notable. The band's vocalist was Sarah Jane Morris and she has an entry here. Is there any way to get the article undeleted or do I have your permission to recreate it? Thanks.SmokeyTheCat 15:00, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

You can goto WP:DRV to appeal the deletion. --WinHunter (talk) 19:16, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Minor edit" at Selket RFA

Winhunter, I don't participate much in RfA as I would like, but am aware of the recent events surrounding refactoring, un-tallying etc. I would like to point out that, without judgement on any one of the formats, your edit, or anyone else's edits, this edit is most definitely not a "minor edit" and should not be tagged as such. Some people hide minor edits in their watchlist, and this is definitely something people interested in RfA would want to see. Regards, Iamunknown 18:39, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

If you say so, in the future if I make such edit I will mark that as major.--WinHunter (talk) 18:51, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Special:Undelete/Turkey

How'd you restore 8,000-something revisions in seven minutes? Is there some sort of "check all" thing one can click? I'd like to know, since this was really a pain. — MalcolmUse the schwartz! 17:58, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Yea, i think it's in one of the javascript I installed, part of User:Voice of All's admin javascript I think. --WinHunter (talk) 17:59, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Angerbot

I came across an uncatergorised article with a similar name to this, and checked the creators talk page for AFD/speedy notices. AngerBöt is the article created to get around the protected title of Angerbot. Seeing as your the one that protected the first, could you delete and protect the second? Thanks, RHB - Talk 19:14, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Done. --WinHunter (talk) 04:53, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Dude, you're locking the database... Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 21:04, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

I apologize if it causes inconvenience, but the article is really messed up by the vandal and requires cleaning. --WinHunter (talk) 21:18, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Yes, but anything that big is probably better done on the database itself by a dev. Just poke one next time... Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 02:42, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lotta Engbergs

Why did you removed the Lotta Engbergs article, when the band had many chartered hits in Sweden, which you can see at http://hitparad.se/index.asp. I have also created links to it now in the articles about the Lotta Engbergs albums, like Äntligen på väg (Lotta Engbergs album). / User:Johan1982 13:37, 10 May 2007 (CET)

That article was deleted because its an expired PROD --WinHunter (talk) 13:08, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Which reasons were given? I can't find any. I think the article should come back, because the band chartered in Sweden. / User:Johan1982 15:53, 10 May 2007 (CET)
The article was tagged for deletion by User:No more bongos for the reason of "This should redirect to either Lotta Engberg or Lotta & Anders Engbergs Orkester - three separate entries are unnecessary". If you disagree with such reasoning I can restore the article for you. --WinHunter (talk) 13:45, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
Lotta & Anders Engbergs Orkester was a band which chartered in Sweden. They were split up in 1994 into Anders Engbergs and Lotta Engbergs. Lotta Engbergs are no longer, but Lotta Engberg is the singer, who appears as a solo artist from 2002 and later as well as before 1989, and has also chartered as a solo artist. It has been common in dansband music with bands named after singers, but I think it would be better to have a separate Lotta Engbergs article. Lotta Engbergs was a dansband, which chartered in Sweden, Lotta Engberg as a solo artist isn't just dansband music, and use other musicians. / User:Johan1982 19:16, 11 May 2007 (CET)
Alright, the article was being restored. --WinHunter (talk) 18:31, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
