Willie Poching is a former Samoan rugby league player who was forced to retire due to injury at the completion of 2006 season.
He joined the Auckland Warriors in 1995 after previously spending time in Queensland as a Brisbane Broncos junior. He only played two games for the club however and was not re-signed for the 1996 season.
Over his long career he played for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and the Leeds Rhinos in the European Super League. He also captained Samoa during their 2000 World Cup.
