William Davis Gallagher

William Davis Gallagher
An American journalist, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 21 August, 1808. Davis worked as an editor and in later years became famous for poetry. His poetry is available in numerous anthologies and his work "Selections From The Poetical Literature Of The West" has recently been reprinted as culturally important. He died in 1894.
