I am growing exceedingly tired of being attacked at every turn by editor User:Nyannrunning (talk) and her possibly related sock puppets. Tonight she left this [1] unwarranted and unrelated personal attack regarding me on an article talk page on which I have never even edited. The comments are contentious, offensive and completely and totally misrepresent anything I have ever done on Wikipedia. Over a few months, three user names have consistently and rotely popped up to edit relatively obscure articles such as Dorothy Kilgallen, Karyn Kupcinet, Johnny Ray; as well as adding identical but obscure material to more prominent pages such as Kim Cattrall, under different usernames, such as here as Debbiesvoucher and here as Nyannrunning. Initially it was User:Dooyar. Dooyar was blocked twice last fall for personal attacks. Then a new name, User:Debbiesvoucher, popped up to make nearly identical edits, based on identical sources, using identical styles of edit summaries and arguments. Finally, a third name, this User:Nyannrunning, who escalated contentiousness with other editors, as with User:Rossrs on the Johnny Ray talk page. Ultimately, a heated disgreement rose on the Johnnie Ray article, over which another editor and myself were forced to request a dispute mediation, with the username at the time, Dooyar. When the mediation wasn't going in her desired direction, she simply disappeared, and the mediation was closed. On February 27, User:Dooyar re-appeared and attempted to reinitiate changes that were under dispute the previous month. I broached re-opening the mediation, as the mediator had offered to do if Dooyar returned. Within a couple days, Dooyar disappeared again. User:Nyannrunning reappeared and took up the identical arguments and an identical specific source, on March 21. It was then that we asked the mediator to get involved again. User:Nyannrunning contended that the article which appeared on the magazine website was vastly different than the printed one. The source was Midwest Today and I contacted the publisher's office to get a copy of the magazine. It was then that we discovered that the material that User:Nyannrunning was attempting to use was fabricated and not in the article at all. At that time, we opened a request for checkuser for Nyannrunning. The outcome of that request was Possible that Nyannrunning and Dooyar are related. When this person would neglect to sign in, the anonymous IPs that were used were traced back to public access facilities such as the Los Angeles County Library, UCLA and the Los Angeles Airport, which is why sockpuppets couldn't be definitively confirmed. In any case, the user once again bolted the mediation attempt and disappeared. In the interim, changes were instituted at the Janis Joplin article based on the consensus of the three participating editors and included removing a section that we all felt was a complete stretch and inappropriate. In the past week, once again, User:Nyannrunning appeared to revert the changes in defiance of the consensus. That attempt failed thanks to a couple other editors and nothing else happened, until I happened to check in at the Jim Morrison article for another reason and recognized the writing style and sourcing methods. I checked the talk page and found this diatribe against me. It's time for this nonsense to be stopped. I apologize for the length of this, it's a complicated story, and I'm extremely upset to be attacked on a talk page of an article totally unrelated to anything with which I was connected, in a manner that completely misrepresents everything that has occurred over these articles with this person disguised with three usernames.
