- WP:ORG lists the Wikipedia notability requirements. I can't tell, from this article, which part of this guideline the company meets. WP:RS defines reliable sources. This article doesn't have any references to any reliable sources. WP:COI is our conflict of interest guideline. If you are employed by this company, it isn't appropriate for you to create an article about the company, and you should wait for someone outside the company to do so (as someone inevitably will, if the company is notable.) -FisherQueen (talk ยท contribs) 19:18, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- I am with the firm. According to WP:COI, that makes me an "editor who may have a conflict of interest"; while edits by such persons are discouraged, the policy does not prohibit them. Indeed, it prohibits only biased edits. The article avoided biased or promotional content, consistent with this policy. I will be happy to add information that will show compliance with the notability requirements without being promotional, or to suggest some areas that others may wish to add. Michael D. - It was early May 1999. That was when Paul S. Quinn left for another firm and Wilkinson, Barker, Knauer & Quinn became Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP. See April 30, 1999 Boston Globe article (partial) for the announcement that Quinn was about to leave, and the May 6, 1999 Washington Post, Section A, Federal Page (precedes editorial page), Bill McAllister, Bitter Pill (Link is here, registration required to see the relevant part).
