[edit] Infobox Needed talk

  • /InfoboxNeeded - Infobox Needed discussions (only use the page talk for page related discussion)

[edit] Alternate view

This list should be made into a category linked to the {.{novelinfoboxneeded}}. Than we will not, In the future have to go through and find articles that had the tag removed, but were not removed from the list.

  • Example: {copyedit}, {context}, ect. (the majority of the clean up tags.

These tags have lists/categorys that once the tag is removed the article is removed as well.

PLEASE if we want this to be successful we need to make it as user friendly as possible. 1 step is better than 2 steps!
Sorry about that, but that is how I feel.Eagle (talk) (desk) 18:03, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Book or novel

I'm hesitant to change the Birds of Prey (book) to Birds of Prey (novel), although that would be more in line with standard naming conventions that I've seen thus far. Is it a change that is "needed" or "should be" made, or does it really matter? Thanks PeregrineV 04:00, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

short answer, yes. Just make sure it does clash with anoth "novel" and check and correct the redirects created. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 09:16, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
This is where I'd be unsure. Would I create the (novel) article, then redirect the (book) article, or would I create the (novel) article, and delet the (book) article after changing all the linking pages correctly?PeregrineV 18:07, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
What you do is go to the page in question and press the "move" tab at the top of the page. Then give the new title in the box provided and give a rename reason. Then you should be offered a screen which encourages checking the redirects which you should use and then work through the list given for links to change to the new name. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 06:30, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Done for all links. Should the (book) redirect page be deleted or left as is?
Great job. I tend to leave it - just in case - others might think differently. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 11:49, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] remove this article?

Since there's nothing on the list, and now that the category "Novels w/o infoboxes" link has been fixed, should this page be re-edited to remove all the outdated info? Aristophanes68 (talk) 16:18, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
