[edit] Names

In Javanese culture - the issue of names is a lot more complex - many have only one name (no family name), while members of palace/kraton families have had in the past up to four names in their life time. (So HBIX is a classic example - some insist on calling him his childhood name - however correct protocol for the deceased person should surely be his formal or last name) There needs to be more discussion about this. Yes, that was exactly what I was thinking of. I think for someone like HBIX it would be inappropriate for us to use his childhood name, which I think follows from the conventions I said. Another complicated example is the musician K. P. H. Notoprojo, who actually seems frequently known in the West by an informal name name (Pak Cokro), but that seemed inappropriate for an article, so I used his final name (even though it may be less known).
