• Having just seen the latest edition of "The Coat of Arms" from The Heraldry Society, I thought of a new goal/task. This seems to be one of DrPDA's specialties, but here goes. The magazine had an article about the officers of arms that are listed in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. It would be good if we could get a decent biography of each of these heralds. I don't have access to the Dictionary, but someone else may.--dave-- 18:22, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Well...it seems that the folks at the CUHAGS beat me to the punch. If you look here you will see a list of all the heralds in the ODNB. I'll probably put a list of them on my userpage so that I can work through them one at a time if they are red links.--dave-- 18:14, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pre-1970 flag of Fiji

The article Flag of Fiji claims that prior to 1970, the "colonial ensign ... used a darker shade of blue and displayed the entire Fijian coat of arms as opposed the just the shield". It should be easy for someone familiar with SVG editors etc. to create this version of the flag (see Coat of arms of Fiji for the presumably correct image). [edit] Pre-1962 flag of Uganda

The article Flag of Uganda notes that the current flag was adopted upon independence from the UK. Does anybody know what was used prior to 1962? Was it the Union Flag or a specific ensign?
