[edit] Introduction?

I'm just trying to get a feel for what will be done and what needs to be done. Since it seems everyone's rather new to the FA Team project, I don't know if folks kind of jump in and make suggestions or LOCE-type copy edits. There is a space for a coordinator, but I don't know if this project warrants one, if I should be acting as it, and what to do if I should.

I contacted the University of Florida Everglades and Research Education Center, Arthur Marshall Foundation, Sierra Club of South Florida, Audubon Society Everglades Chapter, and Friends of the Everglades for their input on the content. I would like to give them two weeks to respond.

Moni, I think that we're feeling our way around a little bit here. The FA-Team's first project, MMM, was somewhat atypical, and we need to find out a new way to approach things. Also, a couple of those who did quite a lot of coordination (formal and informal; I'm thinking of Wrad, Gguy, and Mike Christie, above all), have stepped back somewhat, for various reasons. I'm happy to do some informal coordination at present. Bear with us, if you will. --jbmurray (talkcontribs) 09:39, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Hey, jbmurray. I'm making these organizing statements for myself as much as for anyone else passing along. These articles tend to bleed into each other in my mind, and I'm trying to make it all clear. I understand the FA Team is a work in progress. Unfortunately, I didn't witness to the process when MMM articles went through, so I don't know how it worked. As each new project is proposed, a different approach is required I'm sure. So - whatever anyone needs me to do, I'll do. Thanks. --Moni3 (talk) 15:01, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
