[edit] How do I add an article to the WikiProject?

To add an article to the knowledge of other members of WP Pakistan, simply add {{WP Pakistan}} to the talk page of that particular article. See the template's documentation for detailed information.

[edit] How can I get my article rated?

For the articles to be rated you need to add the articles in the section for assessment requests and soon enough members from the assessment team would respond commenting on the article's talk page. They will then use the {{WP Pakistan|class=}} to manipulate your article's class status.

[edit] Who can assess articles?

Any member of the WikiProject Pakistan can add or change the rating of an article. For a list of users who have dedicated themselves towards the assessment department, see the member list here.

[edit] Did the reviewer leave any comments?

If the reviewer had a left a comment, a link, "(see comments)" will show up on the project banner, that will take you to the sub-page containing the comments.

[edit] Why didn't the reviewer leave any comments?

Due to the number of articles to assess, it usually takes time for the assessment team to reach your article and leave detailed comments in most cases. However, you have some urgent queries regarding the assessment of your project, you can get faster answers here.

In other cases you can also asked the person who assessed your article most recently to help you and he/she would be glad enough to help you with their reasoning. Participating on the project's talk page really helps to employ a better relationship with the team and understand their concerns. Not forgetting that by participating you get quicker replies to your queries.

The peer review department can conduct more thorough examination of articles; please submit it for review there.

[edit] What if I don't agree with a rating?

You can list it in the section for assessment requests below, and someone will take a look at it. Alternately, you can ask any member of the project to rate the article again.

[edit] Aren't the ratings subjective?

Yes, they are (see, in particular, the disclaimers on the importance scale), but it's the best system we've been able to devise; if you have a better idea, please don't hesitate to let us know!

[edit] How can I keep track of changes in article ratings?

A full log of changes over the past thirty days is available here. If you are just looking for an overview, however, the statistics may be more accessible.
