The {{WP Indonesia}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

General parameters:
- class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details.
- importance – a rating of the article's importance; see the assessment department for more details.
- portal – if the article is used in the selected article queue of the Indonesia Portal, the subpage number of its entry.
- attention – "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.
- collaboration-candidate – "yes" if the article is currently the Indonesian collaboration of the week's article.
- past-collaboration – if the article was previously an Indonesian collaboration of the week, the dash-separated dates of the collaboration period; must be left blank otherwise.
- peer-review – "yes" if the article is currently listed on the project's peer review department.
- old-peer-review – "yes" if the article was previously listed on the project's peer review department.
- orphan – "yes" if the article is not currently supported by an Indonesia WikiProject.
To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.

The following three license tags are available in Wikipedia Commmons for images from Indonesia that are not copyrighted (in public domain), according to the Copyright Law No. 19, 2002.
- {{PD-IDGov}} - Indonesia public domain because the artwork/file was published and/or distributed by the government of Republic of Indonesia.
- {{PD-IDOld-Art29}} - Indonesia public domain of old writings, musics, arts, architectures, lectures, maps and translation products.
- {{PD-IDOld-Art30}} - Indonesia public domain of old pictures, movies, software and other engineered products.

This template can be placed on any appropriate page, although placing it on the project's main page and the portal would be very useful. The template can be removed if there is no significant news.

Add {{subst:Join-id}} to the corresponding user's talk page. Find the users who contribute to Indonesia-related articles significantly. Don't just SPAM random people.
