This is a documentation subpage for Template:Wikipedia parent category (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Tag Wikipedian parent categories with {{Wikipedia parent category/doc}} to inform editors that they should remain relatively empty.

This template is intended to be used at the top of categories that are needed for maintenance or administrative purposes, but are not part of the encyclopedia itself, for example Category:Wikipedia administration.
