If subcategories exist for other template types (e.g. infoboxes), they should be named as such and appear at the start of the subcategories listing immediately below this messagebox.

This template should appear at the top of categories containing template pages and subcategories of template pages. If the category contains templates other than navbox (navigational) templates, the type of template should be indicated using the type parameter, e.g.

Parameters description and/or help may also be used, to provide, respectively, a brief description of the category's contents and/or particular instructions as to how to add a template to the category. If help is not used, a default explanation is provided. The description parameter can be used to provide a link or links to one or more relevant articles, e.g.
