[edit] COI

I have added a COI tag because of the {{Wikia is not Wikipedia}} template. Rich Farmbrough, 21:06 5 February 2008 (GMT).

I can't see what that template used to say, not being an admin, but seeing as the template is no longer on the article, would it fair to remove {{COI}}? (I'm asking here rather than just doing it because a) it would probably be a controversial edit, and b) I don't care much for controversy) Dreaded Walrus t c 16:49, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
It was a disclaimer box that said "Note: Wikia is not a part of Wikipedia or of the Wikimedia Foundation. They are entirely separate entities that operate independently. Wikia, Inc.’s projects, including Wikia Search, are not commercially related to Wikipedia.org or The Wikimedia Foundation." Deleted per Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Log/2008 February 5#Template:Wikia is not Wikipedia. I wouldn't be opposed to removing COI, but I was distracted through this whole controversy, and have no idea what the original adder thinks. Cool Hand Luke 17:21, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
