[edit] First in Philippine Wiki History

Last night, I saw on GMA-7 news about this Wikipiniana, and this morning I read it as headline in our Philippine Daily Inquirer, Inquirer.net Online. This is a great contribution to our Filipino researchers (students) and even for us lawyers and judges.

[edit] Esther Vibal

I have to add this, since this is the only existing link or verifiable source which points to the central fact that WikiPilipinas was born because of Esther Vibal, the mother of Gaspar Vibal, and the incumbent owner of Vibal Publishing. Moreover, it was octogenarian book publisher Esther A. Vibal, founder of Vibal Publishing House (VPHI), who learned about online publishing and knowledge sharing. She introduced the concepts through Filipiniana.net and WikiPilipinas.org, the world’s biggest Philippine encyclopedia available on the Web.Inquirer.net, Business lessons from an octogenarian - --Florentino floro (talk) 10:20, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
