Filipino, may refer to:

• From or related to the Philippines (Philippine is also used as a qualifier in certain instances).
  • Culture of the Philippines, cultural description in article format
  • Filipino cuisine, snack of the culture
  • Filipino culture, specific cultural topics in hierarchical format
  • Filipino language, the national language of the Philippines based on Tagalog
  • Filipino people, people of the Philippines or of Filipino ancestry.
  • "Filipina" can also be used to denote female Filipinos.

Note: "Philippino" and "Philipino" are misspellings of this word and are not considered part of standard usage. The term "Filipino" is commonly spoken and written in other foreign languages. Pilipino is a commonly mistaken word used to describe the people of the Philippines, however it is technically in the lexicon of 'slang' as it was coined by the author Carlos Bulosan and has since become an accepted, but not officially correct spelling and is not used in any official legal documents produced in the Philippines. "Filipino" is the Philippines' national, official and constitutional language. Historically, Spanish was the official language of the country, and 'ph' is rendered as 'f' in the language.
