Welcome to Wikipedia. I agree that the remittitur section doesn't belong in there at all; it's completely irrelevant to the med-mal debate. Another editor was insisting that remittitur procedures solved the problem of excessive damages, which clearly isn't the case, but objected strenuously when I tried to take it out. For future reference, use a user talk page to send a personal note to someone, rather than a subject talk page. Also, the wikilink to Center for Justice and Democracy in the med-mal article wasn't an error; it was there so that when someone plugged in the wiki-article later, the link would already be there. Replacing the wikilink with an outside link defeats the purpose. -- FRCP11 03:54, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

I still think the article is POV. There is a semblance of 'pro' and 'con' to the need for reform, but the 'con' paragraph is consistently rebutted by the 'pro' while the reverse is not the case.MollyBloom 02:53, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
