The information about the founder is not supported by a citation or source, and I can find no information on the internet confirming that or any person with that name in the Memphis area. It could just be the name of someone the original author knows. Add this if you can state a source and/or provide some evidence of a connection between that person and this radio station.

The station is owned by Flinn Broadcasting according to the FCC license database. The current call sign goes back to 2000 and the station back to 1984.

Most mentions in the media and web sites refer to the station as "Radio Ambiente" rather than "Radio Ambiente Caliente". (or Calente) StreamingRadioGuide 09:00, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
