WFYI-FM (90.1) is a member station of National Public Radio. It is operated by Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Broadcasting, which also operates WFYI Television, a PBS member station.
It was formerly operated by Indianapolis Public Schools as WIAN-FM.
Some WFYI programming can also be heard on WNDY FM in Crawfordsville.
WFYI-FM carries services for the print-impaired via the Internet and a subcarrier (SCA) broadcast signal. Indiana Reading and Information Services (IRIS)[1] was previously named Central Indiana Radio Reading Inc (CIRRI)[2].
