Westmoorings is a high/ middle class residential area on the island Trinidad, west of Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago. This small town consists of a mixture of very large (high rise) and smaller housing. It is a generally nice community, on the coast. A large percentage of its inhabitants are American European, or of white origin; however there are also a large number of Asian and other races. Nearby is a large shopping mall "The Falls at West Mall" which is equivalent to an American mall, without the large anchor type department stores. It also has a few offshore moorings, a yacht club, and is bordering the sea and Diego Martin river. From this small town you can see the islands off Trinidad and yacht moorings.
