Weston Observatory, Derryfield Park, Manchester, NH; from a 1906 postcard. The 66-foot-tall granite tower was built atop Oak Hill in 1896-1897 for "the advancement of science, for educational purposes, and for the use, enjoyment, benefit, and mental improvement of the inhabitants of the city of Manchester."
