Werewolf in a Winter Wonderland

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Werewolf in a Winter Wonderland is the last book in the Nancy Drew series. In this book, Nancy and her friends start at the winter Carnival, where there will be many fun events, such as the Polar Bear Plunge, the Snow Princess competition, Torchlight parades, and the Golf Tournament. There will also be small events, such as the Fortune teller's tent, and the Heat Hut, where there are lots of hot drinks for a cold winter day. Nancy and co. get in line to be on the team that helps set it all up and work at the different stations, like a judge for the Snow Princess competition, or someone working at the Heat Hut.

After they get assigned different jobs, they head down to the mysterious WildWolf, an animal preserve a few miles out of town. That night, which happens to be a Tuesday, they have "Howl-o-Rama" where the people howl to the wolves and the wolves howl back. But when they arrive, they find that two of the most prized alpha wolves are gone.

Finally, when the day of the carnival arrives, everything seems to go well. But when Nancy visits the fortune teller's hut, she gets a piece of paper that reads: "BEWARE...DANGER."

Nancy is warned in other ways, even by being hurt, but she is determined to help the owner of WildWolf, who is maned Markie, and she is also determined to find out who the werewolf which is bothering the carnival is, if they are human... or beast. Read the book to find out.
