[edit] Dulles-Jackson-Correa Report

Nice work on this article! Just a gentle reminder to please use edit summaries for all your edits so that other editors can understand the reason for your edits and please use the preview button so you can proofread your changes before saving the page otherwise the edit history gets all clogged up with minor edits/typo fixes etc. Thanks. – ukexpat (talk) 22:13, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks! This was my first article, so I'm prone to make minor mistakes like that - I'll be sure to enter edit summaries from here on out. Thanks for helping with some of the formatting issues earlier, I REALLY appreciated it! There are a couple of other Grad students from my class who are making contributions similar to this one. One article is the US Commission on National Security/21st Century and another is the Schliesinger Report (he's still working on creating the page) if you want to check those out at anytime, I'm sure they'd appreciate any feedback you might have. Thanks once again!! Welganj (talk) 14:06, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

I agree that the work is great. I recommend that the history be more focused on the report in question, though. The summary of Eberhardt Report goals belongs in that article, unless you plan to compare and contrast them point by point with DJC. I think two or three sentences regarding the recent establishment of the USIC and the various attempts at early reform would be sufficient here. I bulleted the list of members. If you want to cite their qualifications, you might want to convert the section to paragraph form. In general, birthdates and other background needn't be included here if an internal link to another article provides it. Seems to me that Correa is the only one who has no dedicated article. Consider more internal links, like to DPRK and some other articles within Wiki. Nice contribution to intel reform articles on Wiki. --Pat (talk) 23:05, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] New Nav Box

I have taken the stuff in the table in your Dulles-Jackson-Correa Report article (and the related articles) and turned it into a navbox template which could be used at the bottom of all the related articles. At the moment it is in my sandbox at User:Ukexpat/Template:US Intelligence Reform Attempts 1947-2005. Please take a look at let me know what you think. I propose that we delete the existing table and use this navbox instead. Let me know what you think.  – ukexpat (talk) 19:15, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

I went ahead and deleted the table and added the new navbox at the bottom of the article. – ukexpat (talk) 19:30, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
